Nikon's Coolpix line of digital cameras continues to grow as the company has announced four new additions to its line-up.

Easily the most alluring of the bunch has got to be the new S1000pj, the world's first camera with a built-in projector. In other words, a little digi cam that will project onboard pictures and videos in memory onto any surface, reportedly with a viewing space of up to 40 inches.

The 12.1 S1000pj will also come with both a stand and a remote, which should make viewing sessions a little more kicked-back and relaxed, if so desired.

Also announced was the S70, the latest iteration of Nikon's touch-screen enabled cameras. The S70 features a 3.5 inch color touch screen, and has the ability to shoot high-definition, 720p video.

The new S640, meanwhile, looks to focus on speed, with an "ultra-fast autofocus system and the fastest start-up time in its class" designed to make capturing moving subjects as easy as possible.

And last but not least, the new S570 is set to include a host of features like quick retouch and scene auto selector and, typical of the modern point 'n' shooter, will be available in five different colors.

All four models will be available in September. Pricing will be officially announced at a later date, apparently, though the S1000pj is already widely listed at $430 USD.
