Fallout in Space
Slated for August, the final chapter for Fallout 3 will see the game move from the ruins of Washington, D.C. to an alien ship in outer space. Hey, it's a videogame; stranger things have happened.

Bethesda Softworks continuing support for its post-apocalyptic role-playing epic, Fallout 3, has seen plenty of extra content.
After taking gamers though a complete game set in post-nuke Washington D.C., then adding on downloadable adventures, first through Anchorage, Alaska, then Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, back to D.C. and then on through Point Lookout State Park, Maryland, the game would appear ready for a wrap with the next chapter, which is set in space. Yes, space. With aliens and everything.
Dubbed Mothership Zeta, this fifth and reportedly final chapter will see players abducted by aliens and forced to fight their way off of a massive space ship in order to survive.
While exploring the ship, players will come across numerous other abductees, including some interesting characters from Earth's past.
Like any good Fallout 3 add-on worth its salt, Mothership Zeta will also introduce a host of new weapons, including the Alien Atomizer, Alien Disintegrator, and Drone Cannon, each of which sound ready to impress all but maybe Marvin the Martian.
Players will also get to deck themselves out in new gear scattered across the ship, with garb ranging from space suits to ancient samurai armor.
Slated for release for Xbox 360 and PC on August 3 (and "the near future" for PlayStation3 version of the game), Mothership Zeta is expected to be the final add-on chapter for Fallout 3. However, that was also the expectation of supplement three, The Pitt, but the vast and vocal Fallout community would have none of that, and Bethesda obliged with more.
