Surprising no one, LucasArts just announced a Lego Indy sequel in the works, imaginatively titled Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues.

Expected this fall on Nintendo DS, PlayStation3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Windows PC, and Xbox 360, the game is once again being developed Traveller's Tales, the studio responsible for all Lego-flavored games.

Though the first plastic-fantastic Jones was an interactive spoof of the first three Indiana Jones movies; the sequel will reportedly cover all that ground again as well as incorporate a playful take on the most recent "movie," Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, also known as Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Prop Stolen from the Set of Aliens, also known as yet-another George Lucas Happy Meal commercial.

On top of that, excitingly enough, the new game will give players the ability to create levels of their own, a first.
