EA Mythic today announced that beta registration for the muchly-anticipated massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, has officially begun.

Players looking to join the epic battle before Warhammer Online launches in early 2008 can now sign up for a chance to participate in the invite-only Closed Beta Test.

Based on Games Workshop's epic tabletop fantasy war game, Warhammer Online is touted as featuring revolutionary Realm vs. Realm (RvR) gameplay. The retail version of the game is scheduled for release on the PC in the first quarter of 2008.
