Nyko, perennial purveyor of things to make your gadgets cooler, just released the Charger Grip for PSP.
Single handedly addressing two of the PlayStation Portable's most glaring shortcomings, the snap-on device adds a console controller-like grip to Sony's otherwise unfriendly, un-ergonomic flatness - basically a place for your pinkies and ring fingers to do something useful, like hold on.
Plus, as the name suggests, the Charger Grip also features a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which the PSP recognizes as a connected power source for the PSP battery itself, recharging it as necessary.
Reportedly, the Charger Grip can extend PSP uptime by five hours and is compatible with the existing PSP AC adapter, so you can charge the PSP and the add-on batteries simultaneously.
Watch for a hands on review of the Charger Grip in the coming weeks.
