InterVideo, ASUS and blog host Xuite are now running a "Funny Video" Contest through April 30th.

Like it sounds, the contest invites users to produce and submit home videos of the "funny" variety to be hosted and judged on the Taiwan-based Xuite web and blog hosting service as seen at blog.xuite.net. Winners will be announced on May 16. Prizes include ASUS motherboards, video iPods, Pen Drives and/or software.

There's a catch: contestants must be owners of ASUS Motherboards and InterVideo WinDVD Creator software (including the free trial demo).

The contest thus far includes a whopping 11 entries of "amateur hour" caliber and often don't appear particularly funny. Thus, if you think you can do better, there's a good chance you're right.
