Indie media podcasting network Breakthru Radio has launched its latest specialty music show called DJ Darkside. The segment is entirely devoted to heavy metal and billed as offering "the darkest tunes this side of Tartarus" (yeah yeah, look it up).

Thus far, DJ Darkside features such memorable hits as "Circus of Dead Squirrels" by 8 Bit Piece of @#$%, and Curse of Instinct's "Army of the Living Dead."

New York-based Breakthru Radio is dedicated to airing unsigned and independent talent that wouldn't otherwise get exposure for any number of reasons, not the least of which might be due to categorical refusal to bow to "the man," or possibly because said "man" won't sign them because their music sucks.
