Burnout Revenge
New to the Xbox 360, Burnout Revenge is essentially the same crash, bang, hunt 'em down, smash 'em up demolition racing we've come to know and love on the PS2 and Xbox, but with hugely buffed visuals, as you'd expect.

New to the Xbox 360, Burnout Revenge is essentially the same crash, bang, hunt 'em down, smash 'em up demolition racing we've come to know and love on the PS2 and Xbox (and as Burnout Legends on PSP, to some extent) but with hugely buffed visuals, as you'd expect.

Every vehicle (and most incidentals, like phone booths) has had a day at Armor All spa and now boast a high-definition sheen that's shiny to the point of distraction.

Fortunately, you can sully said sheen with some good old dirty dog driving, which is what the game's all about, taking out rivals or, better still, innocent Sunday drivers or street side impediments that, in turn, take out the competition on your behalf.

With way more particles flitting across the screen in those excessively explosive moments of impact, prettier car carnage, smoke and glass aplenty, it's all next-gen razzle dazzle on top of some seriously solid impact racing.

  • TIP: In Burnout Revenge (X360), watching the Madden 06 preview in the Special Features section will unlock the Madden Van.
