Juiced: Eliminator
From: THQ
For: PlayStation Portable
Genre: Driving, Racing, Simulation
ESRB Rating: Teen (13+)
Juiced: Eliminator
Though a completely adequate, multi-faceted street racing game, Juiced: Eliminator for PSP does nothing to stand out on a system already drowning in too many racing games. What's worse, it doesn't even try.

It's nearly identical to Juiced for PS2 released a year ago; your basic port of a barely average street racing game. Now it's just smaller and older, maybe a little looser with the physics.

Sure, it's slick and shiny like you'd expect on Sony's widescreen slow-loader--though not exceptionally so--, contains the requisite trunkload of turbocharged tweakables and delivers a decent, interactive rendition of the whole road-is-my-playground subculture, but it's still a tight fisted, button-shy PSP racing game that's hard to handle with that goofy little thumb nub, a one button gear shift (?!) and perimeters that are way too confining.
