Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance shuns its pedigree by delivering one of the most deliciously abounding fighting games ever made.

Throughout its long history, the Mortal Kombat series of fighting games has been held in as much esteem as McDonalds. Cheap, greasy, seriously lacking substance and enjoyed by billions nonetheless, the flimsy franchise re-emerges on new-generation consoles as a rich, complex, deftly crafted and astoundingly excellent brawler. In fact, Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance shuns its pedigree by delivering one of the most deliciously abounding fighting games ever made.

Boasting 3-dimensional complexity, weapon-assisted whacking and manual evisceration of virtual foes now requires dynamic strategizing and proactive reflexes. Each of the innumerable playable characters can change fighting styles and stances on the fly (and most every fight discipline is adeptly represented), delivering a vast array of blows and combos unique to each fighter. It also allows you to unlock countless extras and bonus material as a pay off for acquiring actual skills.

Truly the antithesis of lousy.
